Den Gamle Digegaard welcomes you in the old thatched half-timbered buildings, which contain exciting chapters from Lolland’s history.

Located just behind the dike, just a few steps from the Baltic Sea, with one of the best beaches on the south coast of Lolland. Here there is plenty of opportunity for a swimming experience, fishing and a nice walk or bike ride on the newly named Europe’s best cycling route – Østeruten N8.

With the Baltic Sea as the closest neighbor, a selection of fresh fish is a natural raw material.

Fried wild eels with accessories have always been the inn’s specialty.

Digegaardens Smokery also offers a wonderful selection of smoked products, of course from local fishermen, which can be taken home or enjoyed on site, maybe in the company of  Digegaardens own home brewed beer,

Opening Hours

Step into our world of coziness and tradition at Den Gamle Digegaard. Here, you can enjoy Danish hospitality and good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Whitsun is approaching, and we are ready to celebrate with you! We have planned some special things for you to join. This includes evening opening hours in our restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious 3-course menu. We also have a grand Whitsun buffet on Whit Sunday and Whit Monday, and you can even visit our smokehouse.

We look forward to welcoming you at Den Gamle Digegaard, where we celebrate Whitsun with good food and coziness in lovely surroundings.

Grand Lunch – Whit Sunday and Whit Monday from 12:00 -15:00
